What we can help with
- Corrections. Tell us the page and the figure. If you have the agency link, include it. This is the most useful message you can send.
- Programs we have missed. Especially state or county programs that are not covered elsewhere.
- Broken links or pages that will not load.
- Advertising and permissions.
What we cannot help with
We cannot tell you whether you qualify for a program, check the status of an application, or contact an agency for you. We do not have access to any case file, and we are not authorized to act on anyone's behalf.
Please do not send Social Security numbers, Medicare or Medicaid numbers, dates of birth, bank details, or copies of documents. We do not need them and cannot use them. If you send them, we will delete the message.
If you need help with an application
Contact the agency that runs the program. Every page on this site lists the office that takes applications for that program in that state.
For general help finding local services in the United States, dial 2-1-1 or visit 211.org.
A warning
Nobody from this site will ever call you, text you, or email you asking for money or personal documents. Every program described here is applied for directly with the agency, free of charge.
If someone contacts you claiming to represent Benefit Almanac and asks for payment, it is not us. Report it to the Federal Trade Commission.
